Professor Andy Smith
Professor Andy Smith is a renowned scholar and academic leader who has made significant contributions to vocational education and training. He began his illustrious career in the manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom, holding several critical human resource management positions before relocating to Australia with his family in 1987.
In 2008, Professor Smith joined Federation University Australia (FedUni) as the Head of the School of Business and Professor of Management. His expertise and dedication quickly earned him recognition, and in 2010, he assumed the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor (Schools and Programs) at FedUni. Later, he served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) until his retirement at the end of 2021.
